At airport:

watched MST3k: Space Children, and started MST3k: DeltaKnights.

Honeymoon - Day eleven

*Woke up @ 6:30am, breakfast @ La Isla, lounged around, tried to work out, but decided to have second breakfast - take out buffet from Cocotal, yum - instead. Had Croquettes at Burgers & Pizza, played water polo, late lunch at cafe behind Fuentes (mediocre horchetta, Julie had spicy lamb soft tacos, Peter had chicken lumps on tortillas with Barbacoa sauce, nah so gud). Julie got bored of beach stuff -> Went home and watched MST3k:VanishingPlanet in the Jacuzzi*
Dinner @ 6:30pm at Kampais - Peter had lots of fish! California rolls, boulliabese, ... Julie had "fortune cookie" (huge cookie w/ice cream), watched Ladies in Lavender*

Honeymoon - Day ten

*Woke up @ 6:30, breakfast @ Cocotal, then off to Cozumel! Taxi was $20, then ferry was $40 rt/for both of us. Julie felt seasick on the way there. Rented a scooooooooter!!!!

It was a blast! Drove allll around, until it started to rain ... got VERY cold all of a sudden, very strange! Decided to turn around when it got worse. Found shelter at some dolphin place, waiting for the storm to blow over. Drove back, overshot our rental place (on porpoise) looking for lunch; stopped at some lamer all-inclusive place; finally found a really cute cafe (green kitchen!), fed both Peter & Julie for $5!

AWESOME bread, AWESOME lentil soup, terrible boring salad, great cheese spaghetti. Return ferry was much better (Julie); went shopping in Playa Del Carmen (at the ferry port to Cozumel) - Julie found an awesome brown top! ... fun fun. Taxi ride*
Ate dinner @ Cocotal at 8:30pm - Caribbean Theme meal. Met the Christian couple there - saw them praying - from Texas. Watched Malena*

Honeymoon - Day nine

*Got up early again (6:30) to get beach bed, breakfast @ Cocotal, lunch @ Fuentes (6 courses!), dinner @ La Fondue (sub-par cheeses! But we had a great time anyways) ... afterwards, spelunked off-property, looked at an oceanfront house for sale, Julie got shells*

Honeymoon - Day eight

*Got up @ 6:30am, Breakfast @ Fuentes, then 9am condo spiel. Hard sell! Got a great lousy flower, backpack, bottle of tequila, and bargained for the sarong (that was promised to us!) Enjoyed our beach bed, Peter burnt his backside! Lounged around a bunch; enjoyed lunch & shakes at the health bar; dinner @ D'Italia - SUPER slow service (2.5hrs for 5 courses), great dessert - chocolate cake w/warm chocolate goop*

Honeymoon - Day seven

*Didn't get up early enough for a beach-bed. Breakfast @ Cocotal, lunch @ Fuentes (?) - yummy chicken tenders in chicken wing sauce. Dinner at Mexican place - super slow service, ok food, talked to couple who were there on their 25th anniversary (couldn't get the drink right - scotch and tap water). Also met couple from France - she was a maid, he was an engineer*

Honeymoon - Day six

*Rainy morning, Breakfast, and then off to the El Dorado Royale! ($45 taxi ride) ... got there around noonish ... BEAUTIFUL lobby! Duoro champagne, A/C, yay! Long checkin with our homie (concierge) Poncho. Started to enjoy the pool and all-inclusive food, yum! Buffet at the Burger & Pizza place. Finally got to our room*, our first dinner was Cocotal. Very good! Good service, great food. Talked to two honeymoon couples - one from Scotland, the others from Texas. It was so much fun talking to couples, asking when they had gotten married ... "last Saturday? Cool, we were on Sunday" ... :-) *

Honeymoon - Day four

* Cleaned up & packed, thought cleaning lady would come at 11; drove back to civilization around 12ish ... Julie picked up running shoes & miscellany at her house; drove to our house for the first time :) * It was great! * Our four feet were amazing! Unpacked lots of wedding gifts, went to Barnes & Noble to pick up German audio lessons & "The World is Flat" (Friedman) ... packed for Cancun ...
Susanne & Michael picked us up and drove us to San Francisco: Went to Pomelo for dinner, yum! Ice cream dessert @ Mitchell's!! They then dropped us off at the Airport, and we flew to Cancun!

Honeymoon - Day three

Julie woke Peter up with a surprise breakfast, YUM! Did nothing; lots of hot tubbing, had a picnic on the picnic table ... started to watch Oceans 11 - *****. Julie woke Peter up yet again! It might take Peter a while to get used to this :-)

Honeymoon - Day two

Went to Santa Cruz! Walked on the beach, bought some movies, bought ice cream @ Marianne's - ******* all the way! Watched Bewitched. Went to grocery store and bought yummy bacon & croissants, yucky cranberry juice, and 2 fire logs; watched Cheaper by the dozen; enjoyed the fireplace ... Julie woke Peter up again ... We're discovering Peter is a light sleeper, and Julie isn't :-)

Honeymoon - Day one

Wedding day! What an incredible feeling, driving away to our honeymoon spot after the wedding! Months and months of planning and stress, now over! And we're married!!! What a weight lifted off of our shoulders ....

Drove to Valley View (a house in the Santa Cruz mountains), and had yummy Indian food for dinner, because Rebekkah and Crysta decorated awesomely!, with Todd's food. We especially enjoyed the beautiful entry-way floor - definitely ******!

Our first night in the same bed together, and Julie wakes Peter up :-)
